Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have
units in a masteral course, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
specializing in applied artificial intelligence on unmanned aerial
vehicles
- Experience
with Research and Development projects
- Proficiency
in multiple Programming Languages
- Ability to
work independently and as part of a team
- Experienced
in UAV controls as well as automated control systems
- Knowledge of
simulation and modeling tools
- Analytical
and problem-solving skills
- Excellent
communication and documentation skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write, test,
and debug code for the drone’s embedded systems
- Capable of
writing algorithms for flight control, sensor data processing, and
telemetry
- Assist in
configuring and calibrating lab equipment for testing as well develop and
maintain laboratory network systems
- Develop and
test an AI target tracking system for UAVs
- Assist in
prototype development and validation
- Assist in the
testing and development of UAVs
- Capable of
managing and lead a team
- Maintain
detailed technical documentation and version control records
- Performs
other functions as may be required by the project leader
